COCA Monthly Update: September 2026

September was another record breaker.
You spent more with your COCA Card in September than in any month before. The Loyalty Program got a major update, $COCA staking jumped 273%, we launched a new app feature, ran three campaigns, went live on Paymentscan, and sat down with the community for an AMA.
In other words, there was a lot going on.
Here's the full September recap 👇
📈 Growth & Momentum
Month after month, COCA Card transaction volume keeps hitting new records, and September was no exception.
Card Transaction Volume: +11% MoM
Loyalty Tier Upgrades: +89% MoM
$COCA Staked: +273% MoM
🔎 Now you can follow our numbers yourself. In September, COCA went live on Paymentscan, a public tracker for crypto card activity. There you can check the COCA Card's spending volume and number of transactions, and follow its growth over time.
🎁 The Updated Loyalty Program
On September 1, we launched the updated COCA Loyalty Program, giving you more control over your rewards. Here's what's new:
⚡ Claim Rewards Anytime
You can claim your rewards whenever you want. The 10th of the month is no longer payout day.
💸 No Cap on Cashback
Your tier's cashback rate applies to all eligible purchases, with no monthly cap on how much you earn.
📊 Monthly Claim Capacity
Each Loyalty tier comes with a Monthly Claim Capacity: the amount of rewards you can claim each month. It depends on your tier and on how much $COCA you've staked.
🔥 Claim Capacity Boosters
Your Claim Capacity can also grow with three boosters:
Payment Booster: the more you spend with your COCA Card, the higher your capacity next month.
Loyalty Booster: stay on a paid tier, and your capacity grows every 3 months.
$COCA Staking Booster: every extra 100 $COCA you stake adds $1 to your capacity, with no full tier upgrade needed.
Together, the Payment and Loyalty Boosters can grow your Claim Capacity up to $450 a month. All three boosters are now in the app with COCA 3.9.0, and you can see how each one works in our Help Center.

🪙 $COCA Distribution Lock Extended to 2027
Back in February this year, we locked all new $COCA token distributions until December 1, 2026. In September, we extended that lock until December 1, 2027. It's a long-term step to keep the Loyalty Program sustainable. Read more about the Only Up! tokenomics.

🎂 The Loyalty Program Turns One
In September, the COCA Loyalty Program turned one. To mark the occasion and say thank you, we extended all discounted tiers that expire this year through December 31, 2026 🥳
To keep your tier and your Loyalty Booster after that date, you can top up your stake to the full required amount before then.

⚙️ Product Updates & Improvements
💱 USD ↔ EUR Exchange
We launched USD ↔ EUR exchange in the COCA app. You can now convert between dollars and euros in Banking → Exchange.
🛠 Fixes & Improvements
Some of the changes came straight from your feedback. Exchange rates are now easier to read: you see how much of your local currency one USDC is worth. Transaction details also show which account currency you paid from.
For card-to-card transfers, transaction details now show the fee as well. On the $COCA screen, the "Exchange" button is now called "Sell".

💸 September Campaigns
All September, you could upgrade to any paid Loyalty tier with 30% fewer $COCA staked, saving up to 9,000 $COCA. The discounted tier benefits stay with you for 6 full months. Many of you took the chance. September saw 3x more Loyalty tier upgrades than usual.

From September 18 to 30, every Apple purchase with your COCA Card earned an extra 1% cashback on top of your regular rate, up to $135 back. Any tier could join, with no minimum spend.
Over those two weeks, Apple spending with COCA hit 2.5x its usual level.

All September, the first 50 users who spent $100 with COCA got a $10 cashback. Those who also staked 300 $COCA and posted their summer moment entered the draw for an iPhone 18.

💬 Staying Close to the Community
On September 22, our Chief Product Officer Max Holub joined our Telegram chat for a Community AMA. He answered your questions about the updated Loyalty Program and Monthly Claim Capacity, banking and transfers, the COCA Card, and what the team is building for the rest of 2026.

We also kept the Community FAQ going, with the team answering your most frequent questions.

📖 Sabre's Story: No More Off-Ramp Grind
In September, we published a new user story from our community. Its hero, Sabre, is a developer from Cape Town who gets paid in crypto. Spending it used to mean P2P deals and days of waiting for fiat to reach his bank account. After one of those deals, the bank froze his funds for a year.
With COCA, his life became much easier. He pays with his crypto directly, without routing it through a bank first. His advice is simple: "Stop wasting time and just tap."

🌍 More People Are Talking About COCA
COCA continues to grow traction, and every month we see more mentions of COCA on social media. Crypto card reviewers, influencers, and media outlets are talking about COCA more and more.
Many of the mentions also come from you, showing how you use your COCA Card in everyday life. Keep sharing your COCA moments and tagging @coca_card. We read your posts and love seeing them. 💙

🚀 What's Next
October is already busy. Our CEO Vasili Paulau is attending TOKEN2049 Singapore to meet partners and explore new opportunities to grow COCA.
Meanwhile, here's what the team is working on:
Support tickets in the app: you'll be able to reach our support team without leaving the COCA app.
A clearer look for boosters: an improved design that makes your Claim Capacity Boosters easier to follow.
Refunds in your Activity: refunds will show up right there, next to your other transactions.
Plenty of UI improvements across the app.
Thanks for all your support and making September a record month once again! 💙
