The COCA Loyalty Program: How It Works, What’s Changing, and What’s Next

The idea behind the COCA Loyalty Program has always been simple: reward you for being part of the COCA ecosystem with higher cashback and more benefits the more you participate.
As COCA grows, the Loyalty Program is evolving with it. Starting September 1, 2026, we are introducing the next version of the program with updates that make rewards more flexible, let you earn more cashback, and give you more control over your rewards.
In this blog post, we’ll explain how the Loyalty Program works, what is changing, and what we are planning next.
How Does the COCA Loyalty Program Work?
The COCA Loyalty Program is built around staking $COCA.
The more you stake, the higher your Loyalty tier becomes, unlocking more benefits across the COCA ecosystem.
These benefits include:
cashback rewards;
APY on your balance;
subscription rebates;
physical card benefits;
priority support.
What's New in the COCA Loyalty Program?
While the core idea of the Loyalty Program stays the same, we're making several important improvements to how rewards work.
1. No More Waiting for the 10th – Get Your Rewards When You Want
Before | Now |
Cashback on purchases and subscriptions, referral rewards, and plastic card rebates were paid once a month, on the 10th. Even if you earned them shortly after the previous payout date, you had to wait until the next monthly payout. | You no longer have to wait for one specific day of the month to receive your rewards. Now, as soon as you earn your rewards, they are added to your Rewards balance. After a processing period*, they become available to claim, meaning you can move them to your USD or EUR balance and spend them however you like. *The current processing period takes up to 14 days and will become shorter over time. |
2. No More Cashback Caps
The second big change is how much cashback you can earn.
Before | Now |
Each Loyalty tier had a monthly spending limit (cap). After reaching this limit, your purchases earned 1% cashback. For example, Elite users could earn 8% cashback on the first $10,000 of eligible spending each month. Any additional spending earned 1%. | Now, the cap is gone. Your tier's cashback rate now applies to all eligible purchases, with no monthly cap. For example, Elite users now earn 8% cashback on all eligible purchases, no matter how much they spend. |
3. Monthly Claim Capacity
The next update is the introduction of Monthly Claim Capacity. Your Claim Capacity shows how much of your rewards (cashback on purchases and subscriptions, referral bonuses, and plastic card rebates etc.) you can claim each month, based on your Loyalty tier and the amount of $COCA you have staked. It also helps keep the Loyalty Program sustainable as COCA grows.
Tier | $COCA Staked | Cashback | Monthly Claim Capacity | Subscriptions |
Starter | 0 | 1% | $15 | 0 |
Standard | 300 | 3% | $25 | 1 |
Standard+ | 1,000 | 4% | $35 | 2 |
Premium | 3,000 | 5% | $60 | 2 |
Premium+ | 10,000 | 6% | $140 | 3 |
Elite | 30,000 | 8% | $350 | 4 |
Rewards you don't claim this month aren't lost – they stay in your Rewards balance and roll over, so you can claim them next month. You will soon also be able to increase the Monthly Claim Capacity.
For details on how your exact Monthly Claim Capacity is calculated and other relevant information, see the Tier System Terms & Conditions.
Build to Last: Keeping Rewards Sustainable
These changes are built around two goals: making the Loyalty Program more flexible for users and keeping it sustainable for the long term. But long-term sustainability is not only about rules for the community – it’s also about commitments from the COCA team.
We aim to build a Loyalty Program that can continue offering great conditions and meaningful rewards for years to come.
As part of our "Only Up!" tokenomics, we're extending the lock on all new token distributions again. Back in February, we locked them until December 1, 2026. This time, we're extending that lock until December 1, 2027.
This commitment strengthens the long-term sustainability of the $COCA token economy and helps create a stronger foundation for the rewards and benefits offered through the Loyalty Program.
What's Coming Next
More improvements to the COCA Loyalty Program are coming this September and October, giving you more ways to increase your Monthly Claim Capacity.
Increase Monthly Claim Capacity with More $COCA
You’ll be able to increase your Monthly Claim Capacity by staking more $COCA, without needing to fully upgrade to the next Loyalty tier.
The more $COCA you stake, the more rewards you’ll be able to claim each month.
Earn a Loyalty Bonus Over Time
We also plan to introduce a Loyalty Bonus for long-term Loyalty tier holders.
The longer you stay in your Loyalty tier, the higher your Monthly Claim Capacity can become.
We’ll share more details on both features as we get closer to launch.
Thank you for being part of the COCA community and supporting us on this journey.

FAQ. What you need to know
Is there a minimum amount I can claim?
Yes. The minimum rewards amount you can claim is $1.
How often can I claim my rewards?
Available rewards can be claimed once every 24 hours.
Which rewards are used first if I have multiple unclaimed rewards?
If you have multiple unclaimed rewards, the oldest rewards are used first.
This system is called First In, First Out (FIFO).
For example:
Reward A became available to claim 11 months ago.
Reward B became available to claim 6 months ago.
Reward C became available to claim 1 month ago.
When you claim rewards, Reward A will be used first, followed by Reward B and then Reward C.
Is there a time limit to claim my rewards?
Yes. You have 12 months to claim a reward, counted from the moment it becomes available to claim. After 12 months, any unclaimed rewards are burned.
Does APY count toward my Monthly Claim Capacity?
No, it's calculated separately.
What happens to my Monthly Claim Capacity when I cancel my tier?
Your existing conditions stay active until the end of the 30-day cooldown period, so your cashback and other tier benefits continue to accrue, and nothing is lost. Once the period ends, your Monthly Claim Capacity drops to the Starter tier amount.
What happens if a card payment is refunded or disputed after the cashback processing period?
If an eligible purchase is refunded or disputed after the processing period, the related cashback amount will be deducted from your Rewards balance.
If you have already claimed this cashback, the adjustment will appear as a negative rewards balance. Future rewards will first be used to cover this amount.
