COCA Monthly Update: August 2026
August was COCA's best month on record so far. New users, active card users, and card transaction volume all exploded.
On the product side, it was just as busy. We launched in-app $COCA trading through Aurora Intents, gave you private key export, and made sending money to other COCA users easier with nicknames.
And we didn't slow down anywhere else either. We sat down live with Aurora Labs, ran a real-world test of eight crypto cards in South Africa, kept the Community FAQ going, and so much more.

📈 Growth & Momentum
COCA keeps growing month after month, and August was a record one: registrations, card activations, and active users all hit new highs.
New Users: +80% MoM
Active Card Users: +67% MoM
Card Transaction Volume: +25% MoM
It's great to see more people joining COCA, and even better to see them actively using it every day.
The reasons they're joining keep growing, too. Some are financially savvy users who optimize their budgets with cashback and APY. Others turn to COCA to hedge against currency inflation and preserve the value of their money, the same reason crypto was built in the first place.
Different needs, same result: COCA works as a real tool for people around the world.
⚙️ Product Updates & Improvements
August's biggest release ran on our integration with Aurora Intents, bringing $COCA trading and more deposit options directly into the app.
🪙 Buy & Exchange $COCA in the App
You can now buy and exchange $COCA straight from your USD balance, right inside the COCA app. No more switching between exchanges or transferring tokens first to upgrade your tier.
⛓️ More Networks for Stablecoin Deposits
We expanded USDC support to NEAR, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Solana, Gnosis, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, Sui, Stellar, Monad, and X Layer. USDT is now supported on NEAR, Ethereum, Tron, Solana, Gnosis, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, TON, and Scroll.
Every supported chain gets a persistent deposit address, making it simpler to fund your COCA banking account.
Soon, you'll also be able to deposit and spend popular cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, and SOL, and many more, right in the app.
🔑 Private Key Export
You can now export your private keys for both the Crypto Wallet and Banking sections, from Profile → Security → View Private Keys.
💸 COCA ID: Send Money by Nickname
Send your banking balance to other COCA users by nickname (COCA ID) instead of copying addresses or double-checking long strings.
💬 COCA x Aurora: Live AMA
To mark the Aurora Intents launch, COCA CEO Vasili Paulau joined Aurora Labs CEO Declan Hannon live on X for an hour on self-custodial banking.
They covered why private key export was hidden for months and why it's back, what Aurora Intents changed for deposits and $COCA purchases, and where crypto banking is heading next.

We paused Refer-a-Friend while we work on making it more rewarding, and enjoyable.
